Who is an animator?
Animators draw images by hand or use computers to draw these images that make up a storyboard. Thus, by drawing and using computers, animators create a series of images and special effects.
What do they do?
Animators’ basic work includes designing an animated environment that includes backgrounds, sets and objects, designing characters, working out the timing of movements and making sure things meet the script and soundtrack requirements and so on.
What are the kinds of animation courses available?
Various diploma and degree courses are available in animation like 3D animation and visual effects, Maya, animation and multimedia, digital media, animation and game technology and so on.
What is the eligibility criterion for the animation course?
Candidate needs to have 10+2 in any stream as well appear for the institute’s entrance exam.
What are the necessary skills required to become an animator?

Artistic Ability |
Animator should have a command on the basic skills of drawing. |

Storytelling Ability |
It would be beneficial if animators have a good sense imaging the character, the storyline, character’s emotional factor and so on. |

Technical Ability |
Animation career has increasingly become technical and includes various software skills in order to be a good animator. |

Creative |
It’s very important for an animator to be creative and imaginative. |

When it comes to creativity, one needs to be patient. |
