Engineering is a subject concerned with designing, building and using engines, machines and structures. Students need to take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at a higher secondary level to study Engineering. Most institutes require students to take an entrance exam.

Civil Engineering

The institute offers a four-year Bachelor in Engineering. The program consists of eight semesters.

Admission Criteria :

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent Board Exam with Physics & mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry / Biotechnology/Computer Science / Biology / Electronics as recognized by VTU and Govt. of Karnataka. Minimum 50% marks of Science subjects in aggregate. ( 40% for SC/ST and other OBC students). Should have cleared CET / COMED-K/ AIEEE or other equivalent exam recognized by VTU and Govt. of Karnataka.
