This programme is designed for those seeking qualification as a Marine Engineer. The programme comprises of academic and vocational studies for two years plus six months of practical training on board ships.
Admission Criteria :
Candidates who have appeared their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum 50% marks in English can apply for this course. The candidate will have to appear in IELTS examination for English proficiency with minimum score of 5.5.
Age: Age preferably not more than 25 years on the day of commencement of the course.
Medical Fitness: Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6, with or without external aids. Maximum power permitted ± 2.5. No colour blindness.
