Through integrated professional training and undergraduate studies, this Higher National Diploma course provides an opportunity to enter industry as a qualified Mercantile Marine Officer combined with proven academic ability. The programme comprises of academic and vocational studies for 2 years plus 15 months of practical training onboard ships

Admission Criteria :

Educational qualification: Minimum education required is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum 50% marks in English. The candidate will have to appear in IELTS examination for English proficiency with minimum score of 5.5.

Age: Age preferably not more than 25 years on the day of commencement of the course.

Medical Fitness: Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6, without external aids and with no colour blindness.
