Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Science & Research (GNIDSR)

This is a 4-year full time undergraduate degree programme. The syllabus of this programme has been designed to produce a dentist who is socially acceptable and is able to work safely and effectively on patients in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and oral diseases and maintain uniformity in standards, technical and clinical requirements.

Eligibility:

The admission to this degree course shall be through a competitive examination held by the Government of West Bengal. Selection will be on the basis of merit as prescribed by the Government regulations.
The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent at 10 + 2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised Board in India.
The candidate should have secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English taken together in the Board examination at the 10 + 2 level.

Admission test will be held at College campus. Successful candidates will be admitted according to merit list.
