Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering : Colleges in India

Engineering is concerned with designing, building and using engines, machines and structures. It requires students to have very good skills in Mathematics.

Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for diploma/B Tech/BE. Postgraduate requires relevant bachelor’s degree course.

Entrance exam: Yes –ISEET. Some states still have their own exams. Some postgraduate engineering courses may require GATE.

Skills required: Numerical skills, analytical skills, problem solving, delegation, teamwork

Possible careers: Engineer, Entrepreneur

Approximate salaries for freshers: Rs 2.5-5 lakh per year (B E/B Tech. Salary depends on institute: IITs: 4-5 lakh, private engineering college offer just over Rs 3 lakh)
