Colleges of Law Courses in India

A bachelor’s degree in Law is a five-year qualification. Students who opt for Law should have excellent communication, research and negotiation skills.

Law includes specializations such as Property, Taxation, Corporate and Criminal Law.

Eligibility: 10+2 for diploma/bachelor’s degree programs in any discipline

Entrance exam: Yes – national law institutes require CLAT. There may also be a group discussion and personal interview.

Skills required: Analytical, communication, negotiation, research

Possible careers: Lawyer, corporate lawyer, legal assistant, LPO, business, politics

Approximate salaries for freshers: Rs 1.2 lakh – 11 lakh (depends on institute attended)
