Description

Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF) is an autonomous organization spearheading research for the Apollo Hospitals Group. AHERF is a not-for-profit organization and is registered society at Chennai. A DSIR recognized organization, AHERF is guided by a scientific advisory council comprising of the 23 best minds in science & medicine in India.

AHERF is also India’s single largest and oldest Site Management Organization (SMO) which has the experience of 650 clinical trials across its 8 locations pan-India. AHERF is focused on leading basic & translational research as a part of which it has completed establishing its state-of-art stem cells and molecular biology center at Hyderabad recently.

AHERF is also committed to research related educational initiatives and currently offers courses in clinical research. The Site Management Organization within AHERF ensures ethical conduct of global and domestic phase-2 to phase-4 multi-centric trials, with an established Institutional ethics Committee at each center and Central Ethics Committee for a faster clearance across the sites.
