A.P.S. Evening College of Arts and Commerce was established in 1964 as an outcome of the persistent request of employees residing in the southern part of Bangalore city who had no facilities to improve their qualification and prospects. It was the “first” Evening College to have been opened in the State (1964). It was the “first” Evening College to come to under Grant-in-aid scheme in the State (1969). It is the “first” Evening College to has been granted permanent affiliation by the Bangalore University.
The college has excellent infrastructure, has state-of-the-art-facilities. The faculty of the college is excellent. The college has a well stocked library with books on various topics. The class rooms of the college are spacious and well ventilated. The college has a good campus with nice surroundings.
