Description

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) is a 100-acre campus in South Bangalore. The institute possesses an all-stone architecture, lush verdant woods and landscaped gardens provides an idyllic environment to engage in management studies, academics and learning.

IIM-B has world-class infrastructure that facilitates excellence in teaching, research, consulting and other professional activities. Established in 1973, the Institute has since then built on its base of highly accomplished faculty, world class infrastructure and motivated student body to emerge as one of the premier institutes for management education and research promoting managerial excellence in the country.

The institute strives to achieve excellence through partnerships with industry and leading academic institutions, the world over. The Institute also has the largest student exchange programme amongst all B-schools in India with several partner universities across North America, Europe and Australia.

IIM Bangalore leverages strategic collaborations with several IT majors such as IBM, Microsoft and Oracle (among others) to provide a state-of-the-art 100 Mbps campus network connectivity with a 2 Mbps dedicated internet connection reaching out to every hostel room. IIMB has become the first Indian university to fully go Wi-Fi.

The infrastructure is outstanding. The library is spread out over a 55,000 sq. ft. area with an extensive assortment of over 160,000 books, periodicals, journals, working papers, online databases as well as magazines on Management and related areas.
