Description

Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSIPS), is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai. The institute is equipped with all the modern facilities.


The Institute has full-fledged laboratories, equipped with all the items required for effective conduction of all the practicals in each subjects, as prescribed by C.S.V.T.U. in the Syllabi, e.g. equipments, instruments, glass-ware, chemicals, raw-materials etc. In each Lab, diagrams of the equipments/instruments, flow charts etc. are displayed as wall-hanging, for the information and thorough understanding of the practices to be conducted by the students. 


The institute has a very rich library containing, all test-books, reference books, periodicals, journals, news-papers etc. Apart from the print material, CDs, floppies, audio-video cassettes and all other electronic media meterial is made available to the students and faculty to help them update their technical know how. All the operations and services in the library are fully computerized, with utilization of OLAP software. Catalogues of holdings, availability of books and all other information is accessible online on the campus network.
