Takshshila Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, is pronounced by Preksha Educational Society, to serve the community as a center of higher learning as in ancient era. As delivering this to the community we must recall the ancient values defined for the growth of ascetic spirit and duty, not of destroying, but delivering it into useful channel. Takshashila integrate education of the head, the heart and the hands all over to unite a challenging scholastic program with opportunities for spiritual and moral growth, worthwhile work and significant service to the nation.

Takshashila College building and ground are maintained to a high standard to provide an appropriate environment for learning. The campus has been developed over the years with the main teaching on upstairs. A Campus Development Plan has been completed, which brings together the vision of pupils, staff, parents for the continuing improvement of the campus and College facilities and easy access by public transport.

College has well equipped computer lab with advanced machines and broadband internet connection. Computers are available in 1:1 ratio and by this students can gain knowledge easily.

The College has well resourced library that provides an extensive collection of thousand of books of many branches by Indian & International authors and updated regularly knowledge impouring books.
