Description

Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) junta not only consists of divas in heels but also kurta-clad bookworms.

Academic excellence and personality development go hand-in-hand at LSR.

Set in the heart of posh South Delhi, LSR’s 15-acre campus is connected to all modes of transport. There are plenty of malls nearby, but be careful as authorities are so strict about attendance that even teachers don’t skip lectures.

Students have to take part in NCC, NSO or NSS. There is a 300-room hostel for outstation students. Be sure to book early.

The college festival is Tarang.

Hangouts for students at LSR include PVR Saket, library, upper foyer, lawns at the back, residence hall and Lajpat Nagar

There are a lot of sports training facilities on campus including that for lawn tennis, basketball, shooting, volleyball, chess, table tennis and martial arts.

Students encouraged to express themselves, stand up for their rights, think out of the box, and take initiatives. Highly qualified and experienced faculty. Faculty approachable but the admin can be tricky to deal with. Hostel provided on merit basis. Excellent infrastructure. Excellent extra curricular and co- curricular activities and many opportunities for students to add to their academic experience. Good placement and excellent alumni.
