Description

Sikkim Manipal University’s centre on Pusa Road Delhi was set up with the objective of providing students with the best possible education keeping in mind their diverse socio-economic and academic backgrounds.

The management of this institution considers education to be a supreme virtue that must be practised with the purest of motives and total dedication.

The institute places a special emphasis on information technology. Students have access to state-of-the-art computer labs with high speed computers.

Students at SMU’s centre on Pusa Road have access to WiFi and a high-speed internet connection to help augment their knowledge level.

The library serves as a knowledge centre where students have access to an excellent collection of e-books and printed material.

The infrastructure complements student learning. Modern teaching aids such as LCD/OH projectors, training videos, VSAT internet based learning as well as testing software are part of the learning process.

The faculty are experienced and provide an excellent support system to students.

Students are also encouraged to further improve their skills through co-curricular activities. There are two students communities at the centre - Lakshya and Parivartan - that motivate students to participate in various events and self-improvement activities. Our students have made significant contributions through their participation in various national and international seminars and symposia.

The centre has over 1900 students on its rolls, currently, and is centrally located on the Metro route.

The centre has recently been awarded The SMU Award and Performance Award.
