Description

Mamata Medical College is the first private, self funded College to have earned final recognition from Medical Council of India as a Medical College, in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The college is recognised by Govt.of India & Medical Council of India and affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences .A.P. The college’s infrastructure is well furnished with all modern facilities.The College lays enough stress on upgrading the specimen collection in the museums and Laboratories regularly. Dental Materials / Preclinical Prosthodontics lab, Pre Clinical Conservative Dentistry lab and Oral pathology attached museums are provided. There are air conditioned lecture theatres with a varying seating capacity in each lecture theatre.

They provide facilities to observe live surgical procedures there by offering an opportunity to see the experts at work. Apart from the lecture theatres all the departments have A/C. Seminar Rooms / Demonstration Rooms with a capacity of 20 to 30 and are equipped with audio-visual aids. The library has a digital section, with 50 computer terminals and Internet facility through the broad band connection. Library computerization and “Bar-coding” of the entire library material is in process. There are facilities for CD writing, taking printouts and all other relevant facilities for downloading the literature. There is an additional audio-visual section having good collection of CDs showing normal clinical procedures and recorded surgeries.
