Description

Government Polytechnic Jhansi is an institution of national importance is known for quality of technical education in Uttar Pradesh.

Government Polytechnic is one of the reputed and largest institutes of the Department Of Technical Education, UP.

Government Polytechnic Jhansi has a placement cell to organize campus interview to provide placement facility to the students.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Government Polytechnic Jhansi in its various department.

This institute started its academic session in three disciplines Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. In the year 1971, the institute started diploma course in Automobile Engineering, in the year 1972, diploma course in Electronics Engineering and later in the year 1993 diploma in Computer Application was also added to the curriculum.

Students are encouraged to participate in academic and extra curricular activities for an all round personality development. The cultural activities are generally student driven with the active support of faculty members. Students regularly take part in debate competitions and paper writing contests.
