Description

G.S.V.M. Medical College,Kanpur, as the first medical college of U.P. established in independent India, forming a landmark in the annals of medical education in the state of U.P. It is one of the five medical colleges in India established under the second five year plan.
This medical college has a sprawling campus with hospital and college sections accommodated in huge buildings. The main college building is the biggest amongst all medical colleges in U.P. It has a large collection of textbooks and reference books and subscribes to a large number of National and International journals. The library also has a textbook bank for poor students.
The medical college has one of the biggest auditorium in Kanpur and has a capacity of 673 seats along with a huge stage and facility for screening films. The college also has a swimming pool

In area wise campus is good...faculty is also good bit their teaching method is very bad..some of the teacher teach well but it required all the teacher to teact well...i think hostel condition are more worst than any hostel in this world..one survey must be done in hostel..
