Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Science & Research (GNIDSR) has been approved by the Dental Council of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and the Government of West Bengal.
Set up in the year 1999, the Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Science & Research (GNIDSR) marks their first step, keeping in mind the fact that dentistry has been one of the most neglected fields in medical science due to lack of awareness of the prevalence and severity of dental diseases among the masses. It is the vision of Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Science & Research (GNIDSR) to set high standards in dental education by fostering leadership values and imparting high degree of professional skills. The Institute shall provide sound clinical and technical education through highly qualified and experienced faculty to churn out excellent industry-ready professionals. Their endeavor is to provide excellent infrastructure and academic ambience conducive to advanced learning. Their goal is to emerge as a premier dental institute of India.
GNIDSR is the first private dental college and hospital in the State of W.B. recognized by Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi, possessing all the state-of-the-art equipments and infrastructural facilities for imparting the latest teaching and training in the field of Dental Surgery. Separate hostel accommodation for Boys & Girls is available in the campus.
The dental hospital is equipped with over 252 chairs units, which are distributed among the different dental departments. Each department has its own fully furnished and equipped H.O.D's room, faculty room, clinics, laboratory, sterilization room, patient's waiting room, departmental library, seminar room etc. About 400 patients are treated daily in various departments.
