Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) is a private b-school. IIPM is headquartered in Delhi but has branches across the country including Mumbai.
The infrastructure at IIPM Mumbai is impressive. There are two centres in Mumbai – one in Bandra and the other in Khar.
IIPM is an autonomous institute. It is not recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, AICTE, UGC or any regulatory bodies. It has tied up with foreign institutes. IIPM awards MBA and BBA degrees.
The campus in Khar is a seven-storey tower with a rooftop swimming pool. The entire ground floor is a library. There is also a games room with snooker and table tennis. The cafeteria on the ground floor provides great food and a place for students to discuss and debate.
Infrastructure is not the only outstanding factor at IIPM-Mumbai. The faculty are highly qualified. Students have the opportunity to take part in workshops conducted by faculty from the world’s best b-schools such as Harvard and Stanford.
Expect to learn from case studies, discussions and industrial visits. Students are eligible to travel to Europe where they gain global exposure to higher institutes of learning and companies there.
Students from the IIPM Mumbai campus have been placed in large corporate houses in roles ranging from trainees to assistant managers depending on their experience.
