Description

IMS-Design & Innovation Academy (DIA) was established in 2005 to offer various specializations including fashion, jewellery, multimedia and retail management.


The institute has a global perspective with collaborations with institutes in the UK, France, Germany and Italy.


The institute has its own Design Centre where students and entrepreneurs can interact with the staff, private sector and business community. The centre acts as a platform for students to gain practical experience, display their designs and gain employment.


IMS-Design & Innovation Academy has its own brands – Royal Rajwara for fashionistas and Retro the Style Bar for the students.


Retro promotes street fashion and caters to younger designers. The products created at Retro can be seen in pubs, discos and on the college premises.


Rajwara is for the Indian bride and features Indian clothing, jewellery and decor. IMS-Design & Innovation Academy is the first Indian academy to have its own retail showroom, Royal Rajwara. The students have designed the store’s interiors.


Décor Studio is for students of Interior Design. The institute specializes in mainstream interior design of corporate, institutional, residential, retail, commercial, hospitality and media entities. Students not only learn about architecture and aesthetics, but also about forming long-term relationships with clients.


The institute has an active placement cell with many students now working in leading national and multinational firms.
