Description

The K.M.Shah Dental College had a humble beginning in 1999 on 16th December. It was started with an intake capacity of 40 students. In 2003 it achieved recognition with 100 seats. It was the first private Dental College in the State of Gujarat.

The Institute has commenced post graduation courses in dentistry and dental surgery (MDS) from the year 2006-07. The K.M.Shah Dental College is the first college in the country to start an under-graduate program and a subject of Evidence Based Dentistry.

The institute boasts of state-of-the-art equipments, sprawling campus, modern teaching, and strict discipline and promotes overall student development through cultural, sports and academic activity. Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University has its own; high quality modern hostels, with round the clock security and pleasant surroundings. There are separate buildings for boys and girls. On campus hostels enable students to spend ample amount of time to pursue their academic study and hospital training. Generally, the rooms are allotted on a first come first served basis.
