Gitam Institute of Foreign Trade, Visakhapatnam - International business is booming in India, with the economy itself vigorously moving towards the magical growth rate figure of 10 per cent. The rapid all round growth has also spawned tremendous opportunities for highly trained managers in international trade, a task Gitam Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT) has been carrying on for over a decade successfully.

The institutes curriculum is well recognised by the industry, which also generously support the institute by constantly interacting with it and helping it to modify the curriculum periodically through timely inputs.

GIFT shares a 100 acre campus with its parent body, which is celebrating its silver jubilee this year. The institute has a strong faculty resource base and a good quality library, housing large number of books and hosts state-of-the-art databases. The institute has spent heavily in high technology, which is being used to provide practical training and contemporary exposure to the students in foreign trade.

The industry has strong academic interface with Centre for SAARC Studies of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, to conduct doctoral/post-doctoral programmes.
