IIT-Bombay: PhD shortlist to be announced on April 16

The list of shortlisted candidates for PhD at IIT Bombay (IIT-B) for written test/interview for autumn semester 2012-13 will be declared on April 16, 2012 after 4 pm.

The PhD programs are offered by the departments including engineering, humanities and social sciences, management and pure sciences.

IIT-B includes full time research as well as part time research scholarship which includes some of the categories like teaching assistant ship (TA), research assistantship (RA) and sponsorship etc.

Eligibility: Minimum 55% in order to be eligible for this course

Duration: 3-5 years depending upon the subject matter and the department norms.

Applications for the PhD Programme at IIT-Bombay are accepted around the year but are
processed twice a year (i.e. Autumn Semester (July session) and Spring Semester (January session).
