BHU -Pre Medical Test (Main) exam 2012

Banaras Hindu University conducted the BHU PMT-2012 (Main) examinations on June 17. About 3,500 candidates appeared for the examination.
According to reports of BHU-PMT Cell approximately 3,623 from various categories were shortlisted.
The candidates were shortlisted after the first qualifying examination PMT-2012 result (Screening) Examination on May 21.
The exam was held on May 16.
List of successful candidates in various categories are as follows:
General category: 2095
OBC Non-creamy layer category: 1147
SC category: 339
ST category: 31
Physically Challenged category: 05
OBC Non-creamy layer-PC category: 04
SC-PC category:01
ST-PC category: 01
Total candidates appeared for the BHU-PMT (Screening) Examination: 44,090
Total seats at the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU for MBBS: 84
