Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012: registration starts on July 30

Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) have started the admissions for courses which include Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management. IIM has started the registration for CAT 2012.

IIMs will sell the vouchers from July 30 to September 17, 2012 for CAT 2012.

Procedure for registering for CAT 2012

To register for CAT 2012,  students will need to log on to www.catiim.in and click on the https://iim.prometric.com/

During registration, students will be required to:

1. Create a profile.

2. Fill out the CAT application.

3. Schedule your test.

Important details of CAT 2012:

The Common Admission Test (CAT 2012) test will comprise two sections.

Test dates of Common Admission Test (CAT 2012): October 11-November 6, 2012

Duration of each section: 1 hour and 10 minutes

Each section will comprise 30 questions

Registration window: July 30- September 19, 2012

Paper pattern of CAT 2012:

(a) Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation

(b) Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning

(c) The aspirant will be given a single chance to attempt the section.
