DU: Students queue up for first Meta course

Delhi University (DU) has started the admissions for the first meta-college course B Tech in Humanities.

The admissions for the course will be done after a written test and an interview.  The course will be spread over eight semesters. The students will be required to prepare innovation projects every semester. A student can pursue a maximum of two semesters in one college.

Classes for the first and the last semester will be held at Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC)

The university received close to 100 applications in two days.  The Meta course will prove to be beneficial for students as they can choose from various subjects which include journalism, education, counselling, historical tourism and art and design to do their specialisation.

Classes would begin mid-August. The college will also have counselling sessions for the students.
