Delhi University announces 5th cut off list

The fifth cut off list announced by Delhi University has brought some hope to students eyeing courses such as BA (Honours) Economics and B Com (Honours).
For BA (Hons) Economics, BCom (Hons) three college have reopened admissions and seats are available in four colleges whose admissions had closed.
Kirori Mal College reduced its cut offs for BA (Hons) Economics by 0.5 per cent. A drop of 0.5 per cent was also noticed in IP College and Jesus and Mary College.
For BCom honours, seats are still available In a total of 8 colleges. Hindu College and KMC have reduced their cut offs by 4 %.
The fifth list has opened up new doors for students who are interested in the BCom and BA programme.
Kalindi College has reduced their cut off by 3 per cent while many colleges, like Shyamlal, SGND Khalsa and Lakshmi Bai slashed their cut offs by 1 %.
Colleges such as Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Sri Venkateswara, SGBT Khalsa, Moti Lal and Ram Lal Anand still have their seats left for BA.
Bhagini Nivedita, has offered the lowest cut off, 50 per cent, while the highest is at SGBT Khalsa at 81.75 per cent.
In the meantime, colleges are struggling in order to fill up their OBC seats. Colleges such as Hans Raj, Hindu, IP, Kamla Nehru, Lakhmi Bai, Maharaja Agrasen, Matreyi to Ramjas are open in a total of 11 courses.
