DTU: Student gets Rs 55.6 lakh job with Google

Priyanshu Jain, a software engineering student of Delhi Technological University (DTU) has grabbed a mindboggling offer of Rs 55.6 lakh per annum.
Google made the offer the Priyanshu during the campus placements at DTU.
Priyanshu's annual package is not only the highest ever package received by any student in DTU, but also across the engineering colleges in Delhi.
Sources reveal that even IIT Delhi students have not yet received such a staggering annual package. It is believed to the best package in Delhi so far.
Priyanshu has been placed at Google’s California based headquarters and is expected to start working from the first week of October 2012.
Priyanshu is not the only student who has attracted highly paying job. Despite fears of a recession, DTU has a large number of computer science students grabbing packages above Rs 20 lakh per annum.
