IIM-A: Final placement process for postgraduate programme starts

The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has started the final placement process for the flagship postgraduate programme.

The firms that visited the campus as part of the first cluster comprised four sectors

-Global strategy consulting

-International investment banks

-General management leadership programs

-Investment management firms.

Recruiters at IIM-A

Accenture, AT Kearney, Bain & Co, Barclays, Boston Consulting Group, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley and Oliver Wyman.

Students were offered roles in trading and investment banking divisions, with Goldman Sachs hired for roles in quantitative strategy.

Boston Consulting Group made the highest number of offers on campus in cluster 1, followed by Accenture, McKinsey & Co and Bain & Co.

The second cluster will be held on February 17, 2013, with another set of sectors recruiting students.
