IIM-B: Fees hiked for PGP course to Rs 15 lakh

Students aspiring to study at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) should be ready to shell out more money. IIM-B has increased the fee for the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) from Rs 13 lakh to Rs 15 lakh for the two year course.
The fees will include tuition fees, room rent, library and internet fees. The cost of course material, service charge, medical insurance, development fees, students’ association fees, alumni activity fee and a caution deposit will also be included. Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has a total intake capacity of 375 seats.
Fees of other IIMs for PGPM programme are as below:
IIM-Ahmedabad: Rs 15.5 lakh
IIM-Indore: Rs 12 lakh
IIM-Kolkata: Rs 7 lakh
IIM-Lucknow: Rs 8 lakh
IIM-Shillong: Rs 4 lakh
