IIM Calcutta sets up a gift shop for the alumni

In an attempt to attract its alumni, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), has opened a gift shop on its campus.
Ajit Balakrishnan, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Calcutta, recently inaugurated the shop during the institute's Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The gift shop will sell over 50 items of branded merchandise and memorabilia on campus.
The shop currently sells various interesting items such as T-shirts, shirts, caps, laptop bags, sports bags, travel bags, wrist watches, time pieces, eco bottles, capsule speakers, key chains, organizers and other such items.
The merchandise being sold at the gift shop will all sport the IIM Calcutta logo and according to reports, will be sourced from the best available brands possible.
IIM Calcutta also plans to start online shopping payment gateways on the IIM Calcutta web portal. Those interested in purchasing the merchandise can pay by card or cash.
