Indian Institute of Management (IIM- Indore) has simplified the admission process 2012 for students seeking admission.
Some information about the new admission process:
Students who score 60% or above in class 12 can take the aptitude test.
Students are required to take the personal interview.
60% weightage will be given to quantitative and verbal abilities.
40% weightage will be given to the interview conducted by the institute.
The students will be given admission to the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).
Statistics of previous year:
About 1,000 students were allowed to appear for the aptitude test and interview.
More than 5000 registrations were done for the course.
120 students were given admission to Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) course.
Pattern of the test
The test will have 100 questions, with 4 marks awarded for a correct answer and a penalty of 1 mark for a wrong answer.
What is the focus of the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) course?
40% of the programme focuses on management education in social sciences setting, 50% on functional areas of management and the remaining 10% on international exposure and internship in social organizations.
