IIT-JEE 2013: JEE-Advance details in August

After the compromise between the human resource development ministry and IIT Council over the IIT-JEE entrance exam pattern for admission, the students will have to wait for the details.
At the IIT-JEE council meet the content of JEE-Advance exam details was not discussed at the council meet. It is expected that the difficulty level of the main exam will be as much as All-India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE).
National Institute of Technology (NIT) council will meet on July 4 to discuss the admission procedure. A final decision on admission methods is pending.
The new admission procedure for IIT-JEE 2013:
There will be two exams, the joint entrance examination (JEE) main followed by the JEE advanced.
Admission to IITs will be based on the rank in the advanced exam.
The marks of class 12 will be taken into consideration for IIT-JEE and be used as a cut-off.
