National Information Centre of Earthquake Engineering (NICEE) at IIT Kanpur has conducted an inter-school quiz competition on Earthquake tips.
The first preliminary round of National Information Centre of Earthquake Engineering (NICEE) was conducted on August 29.
The final round of the quiz will be conducted on 26 January 2013 at Outreach Auditorium, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
According to the NICEE officials the aim of the quiz is to spread the message of seismic safety.
The preliminary rounds of the quiz will also be conducted in various cities which include Lucknow, Nagpur, Ambala, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jabalpur, Delhi, Shimla and Ludhiana.
