IIT-Patna: Ph.D admissions begins

IIT-Patna has invited applications for Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Part Time and Full Time which begin in December 2012.
The Ph.D Programmes are offered in various branches which include Civil & Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Inter-Disciplinary Research, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.
Important dates:
Last date for issue of application form is Oct 08, 2012.
Last date for receipt of application form is Oct 17, 2012.
Eligibility for Ph.D admissions:
The Candidates should have a Master's degree with 55% of marks from a recognized university.
Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on entrance test Score and interview conducted by the institute.

Application form can also be obtained from the Assistant Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Patliputra Colony, Patna - 800013, Bihar.

The filled application form along with demand draft of Rs. 300/- ) Rs. 150/- for SC/ST) in favor of 'IIT Patna', payable at Patna should be submitted to the below address.
