Jamia Millia records admission interviews
Editorial Team123|0Last Updated:11:59 am, June 20, 2012To maintain transparency in the admission process, Jamia Millia Islamia has come up with the idea of recording interviews being conducted during for admissions.
The idea has been currently implemented for mass communication centre admissions for the academic session 2012-13.
The university will be video recording the interviews being held for admission to various courses to the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre (AJK MCRC).
According to reports, the objective behind the step is to ensure greater transparency and accountability in the process of selection as well as to maintain records similar to answer-scripts of the candidates.
The move has been taken as an experiment and recording started from the first round of interviews to the mass communication courses on June 11.
Depending on the experience and benefit of the move, it will be extended to other courses too.
