Karnataka CET results 2012: 1.20 lakh students appear

The results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2012 were declared on May 6. About 1.20 lakh candidates appeared for the test that was conducted on May 20, 21 and 23 across the state.

Students can visit http://kea.kar.nic.in/ to check the results.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct online CET counselling for under-graduate professional courses for the first time this year.

Verification of documents will begin from June 13, 2012, and the admissions for medical courses will be completed by July 15. About 12 help centres will be set up across the state where document verification will be done.

The Common Entrance Test (CET) is a competitive exam conducted for the admission of students to the first year or first semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses in professional colleges within the state in question in India.
