Maharashtra FYJC college admissions 2012

There is good news for the students seeking admissions in First Year Junior College(FYJC) in Maharashtra .
According to the college authorities, there are more than 2.7 lakh seats available. All courses have seats reserved for students from all three streams Arts, Science and Commerce.
Several colleges reduced their seats in the management quota and converted them into open category seats. The college seats also go vacant in top colleges in certain cases.
Colleges like HR College of Commerce, R A Podar College, Jai Hind and St. Xavier’s have wrapped up their admissions.
Jai Hind College will put up its first merit list for the quotas on June 16 and the next list by June 19.
The Maharashtra state board for secondary and higher secondary education (SSC) 2012 students will receive mark sheets on June 22.
The SSC results were declared on June 12. More than 13 lakh students appeared for the board examination in the state.
