Mumbai University JC admissions 2012

The admissions for the Mumbai University Junior colleges (JC) commenced on June 29.
The disparity between the marking system of Maharashtra State Board and other boards like Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) became evident when CBSE and ICSE students bagged more seats than the state board.
This year for the Maharashtra Board the result was not up to the mark. The students scoring 90% came down.
At HR College, 249 out of 541 students allotted to the college confirmed their admission on the first day.
Important date for Junior college admissions 2012:
Payment of fees for first merit list: June 29-30
Timing- 10am-4 pm
Declaration of second merit list: July 4, 2012
Timing: 5pm
Payment of fees for second merit list: July 5-6
Timing: 10am-4 pm
Payment of fees for second merit list: July 7
Timing: 10am-4 pm
Declaration of third merit list: July 10
Timing: 5pm
Payment of fees for third merit list July 11-12
Timing: 10am-4pm
