Mumbai University: Students file case against paper leak

Around 430 students of the NG Acharya College in Chembur decided to file a case against Mumbai University after the paper leak issue.
The third-year (TY) B Com students are filing a case against the re-exam that the university has planned to schedule on April 11.
Over 75,000 students TY B Com students have been affected by the exam being held again on April 11.
The Marketing and Human Resource Management paper was the final paper held on the last day of the exam. Holding the exam again will result in vacations being spoilt for most students.
Around 510 students at BNN College were accidentally given the exam paper for Marketing and Human Resource Management on March 28, a before the day of the exam.
Mumbai University had initially denied that the paper was leaked, but later suspended three staff members from BNN College.
A CID probe has been ordered into the management of the college. BNN College will not be allowed to be an exam centre for the next three years and will have to pay a Rs 1 lakh fine.
