Mumbai University admissions 2012: First merit list today

Mumbai University (MU) will announce the cut-offs for admissions to various courses today. The first merit list for degree colleges will be out today. The cut-offs are expected to go higher this year.
This year Mumbai University (MU) has received a lot of applications from students from all over the country. The students are seeking admissions in various courses like Bachelors in Mass Media (BMM) and Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS).
The college officials believe that Mumbai colleges are preferred by students from Delhi, Chennai, Jammu and Kashmir and many more. The students also prefer the self-financed courses.
The results of Maharashtra HSC exams were declared on May 25, 2012. About 17 lakh students took the exam.
