The National Level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2014 will be conducted by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for admission to Hotel Management degree programme.
Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 exam from any stream, who are willing to venture into the field of Hotel Management, will be able to apply for this entrance exam. Age of the applying student should not be more than 22 years.
The 3 hour examination consists of 200 questions, divided into 5 topics.
1. Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude: 30 questions
2. Reasoning and Logical Deduction: 30 questions
3. General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 30 questions
4. English Language: 60 questions
5. Aptitude for Service Sector: 50 questions
Who accepts JEE scores:
NCHMCT JEE scores are accepted by Central Institutes of Hotel Management, State Government Institutes of Hotel Management and Private Institutes of Hotel Management that are affiliated to NCHMCT.
Students need to pass the exam for admission to BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and other diploma courses such as Diploma in Front Office, Diploma in Food Production, Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery, Diploma in Food and Beverage Service and Diploma in House Keeping.
