PM to attend IIT-B 50th convocation ceremony

The Indian Institute of Technology- Bombay (IIT-B) will play host to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at the 50th convocation ceremony of the institute. The convocation will take place today at
IIT- B has recently renovated the campus with a new building and a helipad. The helipad will be removed when the prime minister leaves the campus after the ceremony.
The convocation hall has also been improved with new centralised air-conditioning and seats have been changed.
The IIT-B is undergoing a major repair work with roads being repaired, trees are also being planted.
