ST. Xaviers fest Malhar begins

St. Xavier's, Mumbai annual three-day cultural festival, Malhar has begun on August 17. The event is a three day festival. The events at Malhar 2012 include events like-

 Design a Smile (T-shirt designing)

Chaka Chak! (Beach clean-up)

Conclave, Shifting Focus (Short-film Making Event)

The Rostrum (Debate and Public Speaking Event,

Paradise Lost? (Policy Making Event), Fine Arts, In Vogue,

You Don’t Take a Photograph, You Make It (Photography Event)

There are many more entertaining events which have been lined up.

This year, the keynote speaker is renowned rural reporter and photojournalist Palagummi Sainath.

Past speakers and panelists at The Conclave include A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Gregory David Roberts, Binayak Sen, Meera Sanyal and Anupam Kher.
