Students to protest against Mumbai University goof ups

Students wearing black will protest outside Mumbai University's campus on April 4.

The students are protesting against the re-exam for the Marketing and Human Resources paper that was leaked.

Over 75,000 third-year B Com students have been affected by Mumbai University's decision to have a re-examination on April 11. About 430 students from a Mumbai college will also file a case against the university at the Bombay High Court.

In reaction to the series of goop-ups and the following protests, Mumbai University has hurriedly filled the post of registrar and also created a new post for a director of examinations.

IAS officer Bhagwan Kumar Khaire was declared as the new registrar while Subhash Deo, principal of Gogate-Joglekar College of Ratnagiri will soon hold the office of director of examinations.
