IIT-JEE: How to crack JEE without coaching classes

It is undoubtedly true that JEE; the entrance exam for IIT is difficult to get through. One has to spend months after months for preparation of this exam.

Just being able to pass is not enough; you also have to secure a good All India Rank (AIR) in order to get into one of the IITs or NITs.

Many students resort to the coaching classes which assure them of good rank in these entrances with the help of their coaching.

Some also charge enormous fees for providing this coaching.

But what about those students who cannot afford to pay heavy fees? Is it true that students can’t clear this exam without proper coaching? The answer is NO.

Let us look at some tips on how you can crack the JEEs without help from coaching classes:

Keep positive

Firstly you need to develop a positive mental attitude that it is not an impossible task. If you revise regularly and have the right materials in hand, everything will automatically fall into place.

With hard work and dedication, anything can be achieved.

Pay attention

Since you won’t be attending coaching classes, make sure you pay attention in class and understand what is being taught. If you pay attention in class and retain what is being taught, half your work is done.  

Tip: Do not hesitate to ask questions. If you have any doubts or queries, clarify them immediately. Do not wait till the exams approach.

Stick to your timetable

Prepare a study timetable for yourself and make sure you stick to it. Do not get carried away by distractions and divide your time judiciously between all the subjects.

Build a strong foundation

Start by working on topics you are weak at and then concentrate of revising your concepts and fundamentals in other topics.

Once your base or foundation is strong, you will be easily able to master the rest of the topics based on core concepts.

All you need is some discipline, good study materials and a timetable that you must follow religiously and then you can be sure to get admission in the coveted IIT.
