UPSC Research and Statistics Section Recruitment Exam 2013: Successful candidate list

Results for Union Public Service Commission’s Research and Statistics Section Recruitment 2013 exam have been released.

The exam was held in September. Those who have qualified will receive news by post. The list of candidates who have qualified is also available online.

UPSC has stated that it has considered all candidates for the positions but it will not be possible to notify candidates who did not qualify.

The exam consists of a written exam and a viva voce. There are papers on English, General Knowledge and Statistics.

Experts said that the September 2013 exam was average in difficulty in the GK section. The Statistics components were quite difficult.

The difficulty levels for English and GK are of that of a graduate level, while questions in Statistics are at a Master’s degree level.
