You're American and you did your 'tenth standard'? ;) Anyways...there are some great schools in the US that offer the program with teachers from India. Would suggest that you go in for that unless you wanna experience the whole India experience..

You need to complete your HSC i.e., 10 plus 2 in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as your subjects and then appear for an entrance exam in order to get entry to Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in India.
