I would suggest you to take electronics engineering and simultaneously do some project work in robotics.

Some of the good institutes that offer robotic engineering are Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) (few branches), National Institute of Technology (NIT), Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), University of Hyderabad and so on. You can work in the fields like modern warfare, surgery, nano technology and space exploration. This field has lot of scope abroad as compared to India. Good luck!!
